My name is Raisa and I am in the 7th grade. Biology and volleyball are two different things, but for me they are connected. I like to understand how the human body works and, at the same time, use this knowledge in sports, on the volleyball court.
Why biology??🧬
Biology helps me understand what happens in my body when I exercise: how muscles work, why we get tired, how we recover from workouts, and why nutrition is important. At school, biology is not just a subject for grades, but a real curiosity for me.
Why volleyball??🏐
Volleyball has taught me discipline, teamwork, and the fact that progress comes with patience. Every training session makes me stronger, not only physically but also mentally. I love the energy of the team and the feeling after a well-played match.
The link between biology and sport
For me, biology and volleyball complement each other:
• biology helps me understand sports
• sports motivate me to learn biology
In the future, I would like to deepen this connection and learn more about the human body, performance, and health.
Conclusion
This is my first article and the beginning of a journey. Through this blog, I want to write about what I’m learning, what I’m feeling, and how I’m growing, both as a student and as an athlete.
